Instead of packing the schedule with must-do’s, you’re tuning into what actually matters and it opens space for both people to feel seen. Plus, naming a tiny dream (like drinking hot coffee!) can shift the whole vibe of the trip. Excellent advice.

Thanks for this! Would love to hear about travel tips with siblings if you have any. This seems focused on 1 younger kid. Most applies to a group of kids too, of course, but wonder if you have any tips for that specifically.

What specific questions do you have? I have three kids myself and I would be happy to answer.

Love the idea for a home-base for the kiddos at your destination! Also, I have started packing some airplane snacks in containers with small sections, like a bead organizer box, in each kiddo's back pack. The kids think it's so fun to open a new tiny box for those 4 pretzels and it becomes the entertainment.

This was a great read! Funny I started reading it on our family vacation with two young kids- toddlers really. This is our second vacation this year and we’ve really found that if we have a home base- Airbnb usually, keep the expectations and plans low it works out great! This has so far not just been fun for my kids, my husband and I are also having such a relaxing and enjoyable time!

Sometimes no schedule and just exploring is the most fun! Love finding win-wins for both parents and kids (coffee and a park!)
