I love this tips so much. Specific and actionable. I've had some practice at "not helping" because I'm a speech therapist and I have to hold back cueing to let my patients who have had strokes have extra time to think. Your article reminded me of when I'm sitting with a patient and I've given them the time to communicate in their own way. They light up when they figure it out themselves or with a little bit of help vs someone speaking for them.

Love this as a reminder to switch it up-sometimes joining a child’s play and following their lead, and other times stepping back to show we believe in their capabilities.
